Admission Requirements
The following shall be eligible for admission into Master of Laws degree programme:-
- A holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree with a minimum of a Second-Class Honours (Upper Division) from a recognized University: provided that the applicant satisfies the minimum requirement for admission to an undergraduate degree programme in Law; or
- A holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree of a Second-Class Lower Division from a recognized University with a minimum of a three-year working experience provided that the applicant satisfied the minimum requirement for admission to an undergraduate degree programme in Law.
- In addition to the above requirements a prospective candidate may also be required by the university to meet the following criteria:
- A prospective candidate for Master of Laws programme may be required to produce evidence of competence to work (study) for the degree.
- In addition to producing evidence of eligibility for registration candidates for the Master of Laws degree may be required to appear for an interview in the School.
Note:
The senate may decline to admit a candidate whose attainments are not sufficiently high to warrant such admission.
Course Duration
Master of Laws programme shall be offered for 4 semesters.
School Fees
Kshs. 250,000/= per semester.
